I've been a bit absent, but I haven't died, really. I also haven't been doing the most exciting things, but oh well. I just woke up from a two hour nap, so my fingers are moving a bit slowly right now. Yesterday we went out to the sand pit for a big "July Birthday Party" for Landon's parents and a lot of their friends. There was a potluck full of delicious salads and grilled meats (lots of cucumbers and tomatoes.. you could tell whats doing well right now). Landon and I made a Biscoff Brownie Cake ahead of time to take out. I have too much of the delicious frosting left still. No one seems to have heard of this biscoff spread, which I think is delicious. You're all missing out.
My housemates came and we shared a plate of dessert (yes, a whole plate).
Driving home, Landon got so fed up with having the hiccups that he pulled over to the side of the road and hing upside-down for a while. Luckily it was a pretty sunset so I wasn't upset. I was just thoroughly amused by the entire situation.
This morning I went to Bartlett Arboretum and took some pictures with a few lovely ladies for my friend Becca's Etsy shop, so those should be up sooner or later! Or at least a sneak peek of the shop's opening. :)
