Hot Stone Bibimbap brings people together.

When we first started moving into our apartment for the summer Sara, Leah and I all went to eat at Chong's, a Korean restaurant in Newton. Leah introduced Sara and I to Bibimbap, a bowl of vegetables and rice essentially that as soon as you get you have to stir like crazy and the egg basically fries itself on all the other food. It is amazing.
Yesterday they picked me up after work and we went on a roommate date to Chong's again, where you'll never guess what we all ordered. It didn't disappoint either.

Since I was done with work by one o'clock, I had all afternoon to myself. I decided to take a generic quick bread recipe and try and make lemon blueberry bread. It was an adventure! At first when I took it out of the oven it was only about halfway baked.. maybe. I repeatedly stuck it back in for ten minutes, then ten more, then ten more, until it had probably been about twice as long as the original recipe had called for. I was so frustrated I just stood there staring at the oven and eating cookie dough with a spoon until it was finally baked all the way through. Eventually I think I managed to save it, and it even tastes pretty good! :) It was my first baking experience attempting to replace oil with greek yogurt. I might have to work on perfecting the recipe, then share it eventually!
