On Sunday morning Leah, Becca, Tiana, Emma and I all headed to the beautiful Bartlett Arboretum in Bel Plaine, Kansas. Becca is opening an Etsy shop with vintage clothes so we all helped out taking pictures and modeling dresses. Bartlett Arboretum is probably the most beautiful place I have found in Kansas thus far. It is wonderful. Robyn Macy, the owner and one of the founding members of the Dixie Chicks was so sweet and welcoming.
We headed out early, at about 7:30 am so that it wouldn't be too hot for our photoshoot. On the way we had to stop and get coffee. I think Leah and I confused the McDonalds workers when we wanted nonfat milk and no flavor (we must be crazy, I guess). Once we got there we each had a few outfits to model, and were all finished before noon. Becca brought us a tasty picnic of bread, cheese, tomatoes, basil and grapes and some Arizona iced tea with chocolate for dessert. Robyn even gave us a few peaches to share.
I took a solid nap on the drive back to Newton, and when we got back Emma's dad so wonderfully fixed the brakes on my bike! I pretty much spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing. In the evening I walked to Dillons with Landon to get ice cream and then we watched one of my favorite movies, Whip It, during which I of course fell asleep. Classic Erin. It was a very nice Sunday!

I'll probably post some more of the dresses once they are listed. You'll be able to find them through Newton Et Cetera Shop.
