A Return to the Forest

The past three summers I've spent working at a family owned amusement park in Salem called Enchanted Forest. This year I figured I'd visit even though I'm not working there anymore. One of my best friends, Bry, is still working there though, and gave me and two other friends her free passes to get into the park.

We got to see the comedy theatre do Cinderella, and wandered around in the "Indian Caves".

We also enjoyed the crooked house and the witch quite a bit.

We were only there for about two hours, which was the perfect amount of time to visit all the attractions that didn't cost extra money. It was fun to see some of the people I had worked with in past summers. We even bothered Bry as she ran the bumper cars. Topping off the day, we got delicious ice cream; I got Moose Tracks.

Enchanted Forest is such a cute place. I will definitely bring children there.

Erica had to work, but I had some things to do downtown, so Ariella and I hung out there for a while. I hadn't had good coffee since escaping the wilderness, so of course I had to fill that void. We went to Governor's Cup, which neither of us had ever been to before. Both of us really liked it though, and there were people playing Settlers of Catan. We were tempted to join in. We left and went over to Great Harvest Bread Company, which is my absolute favorite. We each got a Marionberry Scone, which ended up being like the size of my face. It was delicious though.

All in all, it was a good day. It's good to be home.
