I'm starting to realize that I truly have two homes.
Reasons I love Oregon:
I grew up there. I can't not love it.
My family is there.
The coast.
The mountains.
My friends.
Everything is green and beautiful.
There is nothing like leaving to realize how much you have taken for granted about a place. My love for Oregon has only quadrupled since living in Kansas.
Reasons I love Kansas:
The sky.
My friends are here.
My mod from last year,
my mod for next year,
my roommate,
my boyfriend,
and many other good friends.
This is the first summer that I've stayed in Kansas for. So far I am absolutely loving it, but I also can't wait to go home for two weeks. One week I will have for absorbing all of the northwest that I can, and the other will be spent in the wilderness backpacking around with my dad and a group of highschoolers, so I'm excited for that!
